Curl Care basics

The right combination of cleaning, care and protection.

You don't need countless products and a cluttered bathroom shelf for the right curl care.

The basis for the best and long-lasting care of your curls (and hair in general) is a sensible combination of the right cleansing and care, as well as the protection of your hair and scalp.

It is not important to use a lot of products - following the rule that a lot helps a lot. In the worst case, this can even throw your scalp out of balance.

But most likely it's not us who want to use so many products, especially for hair care. As long as products are based on hair conditions - i.e. dry, damaged, coloured - and not primarily on hair structure, "a lot helps a lot" will probably remain the standard in many cases.

In our opinion, a shampoo should cleanse but not over-cleanse, i.e. it should not degrease the hair too much or even dry out the scalp. In the same way, hair care should focus on the structure. Care products that are aimed at the masses and make no distinction here are of little help to many in the end, so that several products are necessary to achieve the care goal. We rely on focus and targeted product development with curl orientation. This ultimately makes hair care much more targeted and efficient. When it comes to hair protection, special products are not necessarily needed. Anyone can do good things for their hair and protect it from damage or reduce some of the causes of hair damage with the simplest of means.

We explain what you can look out for in your hair and curl care. We will go into the individual topics of cleaning, protection and care, with special focus on curly hair.
